• Paola Jacobs, Mount Madonna, (Sr).: Jacobs continued to shine as a star for the Mt. Madonna Hawks in the fall and the spring. 

Jacobs finished with a team-high in kills (347), digs (356) and in aces (52), according to MBayPreps. She was an honorable mention for the All-Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League.

Jacobs helped lead the Hawks to a Central Coast Section Division V title by defeating top seeded Notre Dame of Salinas. Mt. Madonna was also a NorCal Division V quarterfinalist. 

In the spring, Jacobs nearly missed the cut to go back to the CCS track and field meet. She placed third in both the shot put and discuss at the SCCAL Championships. 

During the league championships, she threw a personal best 93 feet in the discuss. Jacobs also set a school record of 4-feet, 10-inches during a league meet on April 11 against Aptos, Santa Cruz and Soquel.
