WATSONVILLE — Aurora M. Lopez died at Watsonville Community Hospital on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018. She was 86.

She was born in Mexico and lived in Watsonville for 66 years. Mrs. Lopez retired from Green Giant after 23 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and gambling, but her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Lopez is survived by her children, Gabe (Beatrice) Lopez, Isabel (Robert) Suarez, Lupe (Annette) Lopez, Josie, Frank, Aurora, and Johnny (Angie) Lopez; her siblings, Trina, Cleotilde, Eva, Manuel, and Jose; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Domingo, Sr.; and children, Frances, Domingo, Jr. and Victor.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 16 from 5-9 p.m. at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel with a vigil and rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Church. Burial will follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
