It is with great sadness that the family of Charles William White announces his passing after battling a long illness, on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the age of 77 years.
Charles will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend, Rosemary who never left his side and 2 surviving children Charles (Ramona), Paul (Amalia). Charles will be forever remembered by his 5 grandchildren whom he cherished. Charles was born March 25, 1942 in Barrett, West Virginia. He enlisted in the Army in 1959 at the age of 17. While in the military he attended the University of Hawaii. He did two tours in Vietnam where he earned many honors for his display of bravery and achievements. After his military career he worked in sales and management. Charles had charisma and was so kindhearted. He loved laughter and joking with people; he would give his shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. He loved watching sports, but his loyalty and heart were for the Cincinnati Reds and the Miami Dolphins. Charles loved to travel, hunt and fish, and be around family.
Please join us in celebrating Charles’ life Monday evening June 10, 2019 at 7:00pm at Black-Cooper-Sander, 363 Seventh Street, Hollister. The following day June 11, 2019 at 11:00am mass services will be held St. Benedict Church in Hollister. Immediately after mass services the burial will follow at San Joaquin Valley Cemetery, 32053 McCabe Rd. Santa Nella, CA 95322.
