APTOS — Cabrillo College’s Annual College and Career Night will be held Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Cabrillo College Aptos campus, 6500 Soquel Drive.

The event will feature presentations by instructors, counselors and financial aid advisors about Cabrillo College programs of study, transfer options and career paths, as well as a College & Career fair in the gym, with representatives from more than 60 four-year colleges and universities. The new, full-service Cabrillo College Welcome Center will also be open and student ambassadors will be giving campus tours.

This annual event is free to attend and is open to all students, parents and prospective students in the Santa Cruz County community.

In the Robert E. Swenson Library, Santa Cruz County students can talk with representatives from Cabrillo’s academic programs about campus degrees and transfer programs. Also in the library, Cabrillo’s financial aid staff will walk students and parents through the financial aid process in scheduled workshops.

In the Cabrillo College Gymnasium, students and their parents can meet with representatives from more than 60 public, private, and out-of-state colleges and universities, as well as attend workshops about transferring from Cabrillo College to a four-year university. Also in the gym, Cabrillo counselors will lead transfer workshops to discuss what it takes to transfer from Cabrillo to a four-year university.
