Watsonville American continued its solid play on the first day of the final four section of the District 39 Majors All-Stars Little League tournament, besting Capitola-Soquel 10-2 on Tuesday in Santa Cruz.

Watsonville American, which went 3-1 in pool play to win pool A, played Scotts Valley on Wednesday night for a spot in the tournament championship game. The results of that game were not available before print.

Aptos, meanwhile, lost 6-4 to Scotts Valley in its first game of final four action and played Capitola-Soquel on Wednesday night in an elimination — the results of that game were not available before print.

The Majors’ championship game is set for Saturday in Santa Cruz at a time to be determined.

Watsonville American, which won all four of its pool A games to win the pool, played Scotts Valley on Wednesday night for the right to advance to the 10s championship game. The results of that game were not available before print.

The 10s championship game is scheduled for Saturday at Santa Cruz.
