Dixie Lamb was born in Aromas, CA to parents Hugh and Novella Webb. She attended Aromas Elementary School and graduated from Watsonville High School, class of 1952.
As a teen she worked at Martinelli’s & Co and as a cashier at the local theater.
1953 saw her marriage to the love of her life Leland Lamb. From then she worked at the local TV Mart, and Searles Appliances. She also volunteered as a “Pink Lady” at Watsonville Community Hospital and was a member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West.
She was preceded in death by her parents and young brother William.
Dixie leaves behind her beloved husband of 64 years, Leland Lamb; daughter and son Karen and Gregory; grandchildren Fitzgerald, Montgomery, Christina and Allison; sister Nancy Cameson; niece Kathleen. Dixie will also be very missed by her much loved dog, Crissie.
Dixie was a sweet, kind and marvelous person and the world will mourn her loss.

A graveside service will be held at Mission Memorial Park, 1915 Ord Grove Ave., Seaside, CA on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017 at 2 pm.
