WATSONVILLE — A Watsonville man was arrested Monday night after he allegedly slammed his car into several parked cars on Blackburn Street.

Watsonville Police said Eduardo Racine, 30, plowed into at least three cars on Blackburn Street between East Beach Street and Riverside Drive in his red Ford Focus.

Racine’s passenger became stuck in the mangled vehicle, requiring Watsonville Firefighters to use the Jaws of Life to extricate him. He was then taken to the hospital for a leg injury, Police said

Racine’s blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit. He was booked into county jail for felony DUI. His car sustained major damage.
