We are deeply saddened to share with you that Felicitas (Phyllis) L. Thadeo, passed away peacefully at home on August 3, 2018 at the age of 87.  She joins her husband Thomas Thadeo, beloved sister Angela Gil, nephews Humberto Gil, Hector Gil, niece Nilvia Gil and grandson JJ Harper.

Felicitas was born in Calexico, California on November 23, 1930 and was a long time resident of Watsonville.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.  She enjoyed tending to her garden.

Felicitas will be greatly missed by her children Bernard Calip; Selbino Calip and wife Leslie; Edwardo Calip; Lisa Coronado and her husband Sylvester; her grandchildren Ian, Hiram, Bridget, Amy, Celena, Regina, Malia, Tessa and Andrea; as well as her great-grandchildren and extended family Antoinette Sosnowski and Betty Saravia.  Tia Licha will also be lovingly remembered by her nephews and nieces Miguel, Reuben, Rosa, Ivonne, Sharys, Claudia, Patty, and Yvet.

Visitation will be held in memory of Felicitas at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Monday, August 13 from 5-9pm with the vigil rosary recited at 7 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church on Tuesday, August 14 at 10 am with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
