Gregorio DeLeon, age 90, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 12. He was born in Jalisco, Mexico, and later immigrated to the U.S.
Mr. Gregorio was a very hard working person. He worked as a tractor driver for about 40 years.
He enjoyed reading and watching TV when he had free time, but, more importantly, he was a very social easygoing person who loved to spend time with his family, which was his priority.
Mr. Gregorio loved his children and grandchildren. He also liked to take care of his plants and garden.
He will be missed by his sons Francisco, Juan, Sebastian, Gregorio and Leonardo; and daughters Yolanda and Ana.
His services will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Wednesday. Visitation will run from 9 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. followed by mass at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Help Christians Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Valley Public Cemetery, 2445 E. Lake Ave, in Watsonville.
