WATSONVILLE — In March, KDUB 99.9 FM presented a job fair at the Appleton Grill in downtown Watsonville, where about a dozen companies looked to fill a number of positions, and job seekers were able to find their future employer.

The fair was so successful that KDUB decided to host another job fair. It will return Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Appleton Grill & Ballroom, 410 Rodriguez St.

KDUB Program Director Joel Mijares said many companies contacted him after the first job fair, asking how they could sign up to participate in the next fair.

“The first one went so well,” he said. “The clients were very content with the results.”

For Thursday’s job fair, about 15 companies will look to add to their ranks, with jobs ranging from field and office work in agriculture, mechanics, transport drivers and more. Locations range from across Santa Cruz County, to Salinas, Gilroy and Hollister.

Job seekers are asked to bring their resumes, and will have the opportunity to fill out applications on the spot. Those who are 18 and over are encouraged to attend.
