Jose Luis Jauregui died unexpectedly on Sept. 5. He was 52. 

Mr. Jauregui was born in Mexico on Jan. 26, 1967, but came to the U.S. in 1983, starting his career in trucking in 1990.

He had a passion for music. He loved listening to rancheras and would occasionally have a drink of his favorite tequila, Patron. He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his children, siblings, girlfriend and extended family. The people that knew him would tell you of his generosity since a young age.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria De Jesus Rubalcava Cornejo, and his sister, Nery Jauregui.

He is survived by his father Gelacio Jauregui; daughters Angelica, Janette, Vanessa, Ruby and Nerily; sons Jose Luis, Carlos and Matias; his girlfriend Viviana Castañeda; and numerous siblings.

Services will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., with a rosary at 1 p.m. and a chapel blessing at 2 p.m.
