WATSONVILLE — El Pajaro Community Development Corporation’s Commercial Kitchen Incubator, 412 East Riverside Drive in Watsonville, will celebrate its fifth anniversary with Tacos and Tapas on Aug. 23 from 6-9 p.m.

The event will feature tacos and tapas created by local food entrepreneurs. A no-host margarita and sangria bar will also be offered, as well as live music by Los Malangueros.

Since 2013, the kitchen incubator has assisted in the creation of more than 60 food businesses.

Joining the celebration as keynote speaker is Lauren Maria Padilla-Valverde. She is a senior program manager for The California Endowment where she oversees its 10-year Building Healthy Communities initiative.
