The Golden State Warriors signed Quinn Cook to a two-way contract, the team announced on Tuesday.

Cook, a 6-foot-2, 179-pound guard who was twice named a G League All-Star with the Canton Charge, joins rookie forward Chris Boucher as the team’s other two-way player.

Both are expected to see plenty of time with the Santa Cruz Warriors this season.

“We’re thrilled to sign Quinn Cook, a proven team leader and elite player in the NBA G League, to a two-way contract with the Warriors organization,” Santa Cruz Warriors General Manager Kent Lacob said through a press release. “This is a signing where the needs of both the NBA franchise and the NBA G League roster are aligned, and I believe he will be in a position to thrive for both teams this season.”

Over the last two years, Cook averaged 22.6 points, six assists and four rebounds per game in 82 contests with Canton. The Duke University alumnus was named the G League All-Start Game MVP and earned a pair of NBA call-ups with the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans last season.

“Quinn Cook has been a leader and standout player at every stop in his career, and we couldn’t be happier to have him in Santa Cruz this season,” Warriors President Chris Murphy said through a press release. “With Opening Night less than three weeks away, I can’t wait for our fans at Kaiser Permanente Arena to embrace him when he steps on the court for the first time.”
