Jayleen Solorzano scored 37 points to lead the Pajaro Valley High Grizzlies past Stevenson High to a 66-54 win on Tuesday night in non-league action.

Pajaro Valley (4-2), winner of its last three games, is off until the start of league play on Jan. 2 when it will travel to Monterey High.

• St. Francis 63, University 24 – The St. Francis High Sharks rolled to another preseason win on Tuesday night on the road.

Every player scored for the Sharks (3-1), who host Mountain View on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

• Watsonville 60, Anzar 29 – Savanah Quintana and Evelyn Rios each scored nine points in Watsonville High’s preseason win over Anzar High on Monday night.

Aaliyah Johnson chipped in eight for the Wildcatz, who had all 11 players score.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

• St. Francis 68, King City 50 – Jason Gallo scored 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lift the St. Francis High Sharks over King City High on Tuesday night in preseason play.

Andrew Seymour added 12 points and six assists for the Sharks (4-1), who play in the Balboa Invitational today.

• MVC 60, Stevenson 51 – Aidan Ezeji-Okoye scored a team-high 14 points, Andrew Lee recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds and Monte Vista Christian continued it perfect start to the season with a win over Stevenson in preseason action on Tuesday.

Lucas Schmidt had 10 points and eight rebounds and Miles Greene contributed eight points, five rebounds and three assists.

M.V.C. (5-0) plays in the Damian Lillard Classic today at Oakland High.

• Pajaro Valley 61, SLV 54 – Christian Quintero scored 20 points, Tony Reyes added 19 and the Pajaro Valley High Grizzlies edged San Lorenzo Valley High on Tuesday night in preseaon play.

• Aptos 54, Salinas 37 – The Aptos High Mariners cruised by the Salinas High Cowboys on Tuesday night to stay undefeated in the preseason.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

• Watsonville 0, Santa Cruz 0 – The Watsonville High Wildcatz and Santa Cruz High Cardinals played to a scoreless tie on Tuesday night in preseason action.

Watsonville (5-0-1) hosts Soquel High today at 6:45 p.m.

• St. Francis 7, Trinity 0 – Clare Tershy, Savanah Guel and Taylor Guel scored two goals apiece to lead the St. Francis High Sharks to their fifth straight shutout win on Tuesday night in preseason play.

Riley Croghan also found the back of the nets for the Sharks (5-0), who are off to the program’s best start.

St. Francis travels to Anzar today at 3:30 p.m.

• Aptos 1, Presentation 1 – The Aptos High Mariners played to a tie with the nationally ranked Presentation Panthers on Tuesday evening in preseason action.

For Aptos, Monserrat Hernandez Marquez scored off a Maya Pruett assist and Caroline Miller made four saves.

The Mariners (2-1-2) close out their preseason today at Sobrato High at 3:30 p.m.

• MVC 3, Stevenson 0 – Kailey Morrell scored two goals, Caroline Sullivan scored the third and Monte Vista Christian shutout Stevenson in preseason play on Tuesday in Pebble Beach.

• St. Francis 4, Trinity 2 – Cesar Sanchez had a hat-trick on his birthday to lead the St. Francis High Sharks over Trinity Christian to a preseason win on Wednesday evening in Watsonville.

Joey Correnti also scored for St. Francis, which hosts Anzar High today at 3:30 p.m.
