A crowd takes part in a #StopTheBans Day of Action protest at Watsonville Plaza Tuesday at noon. Their move was “to take a stand against the recent attacks on Roe and attempts to punish women,” said organizer Jenni Veitch-Olson. “I feel that a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body is no one else’s business but her own. The decisions and steps that Alabama and Ohio have taken are incredibly frightening to me and prompted me to want to participate in this National Day of Action and do it in my community of Watsonville.”
