A strong showing of armed police prepare to storm a home on the 100 block of Hillcrest Drive off of Salinas Road Wednesday in Royal Oaks. At one point a man tossed a gun out of a window of the home. Nearby Ohlone Elementary School was put on lockdown throughout the 45-minute ordeal. Iran Perez, 36, was taken into custody for firearm charges and drug sales, including meth and heroin. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
