Roberto Magana Zamora died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 . He was 74.

Mr. Magana Zamora was born on May 7, 1944 to Maria del Refugio Zamora Rocha and Adolfo Magana Castillo. He was a hardworking family man. He worked in the railroad track industry and agriculture. He loved to go on walks around town while listening to music. Being in the company of his family and friends is what he loved the most. He was a resident of Watsonville.

He is survived by his children, Yolanda (Jose) Lopez, Roberto (Josefina), Gloria (Arturo) Montejano, Cristobal (Charlotte), Miguel (Lupe), Ana Maria (Santiago); eight siblings; 13 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by four siblings.

A Visitation Service will be held on Monday, Jan. 21, at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St. in Watsonville from 5-9 p.m. with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. at Valley Catholic Church located at 2601 East Lake Ave. in Watsonville with the burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery located at 2445 East Lake in Watsonville.
