Romulo Bayuga died on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at Dominican Hospital. He was 56.

Mr. Bayuga was born in the Philippines to Marcelino and Aurea Bayuga. He moved from the Philippines in 1996 and settled in this area 21 years ago. Mr. Bayuga worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 21 years and specifically for the past 16 years in Dominican Hospital. He attended St. Patrick’s Church.

Mr. Bayuga was an example of human kindness. He was a loving father, husband, son and brother. Mr. Bayuga enjoyed playing golf with his daughter and watching the Golden State Warriors.

Mr. Bayuga is survived by his parents; wife of 16 years, Beth Bayuga; daughter, Angelica Bayuga; brothers, Virgilio, Nelson, Junior and Mario Bayuga; sister, Fely Sullano and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 5-9 p.m. with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church on Friday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park.
