Mrs. Rosalie Marie (Lievanos)Young passed away on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018.

She was born on October 18, 1938, in Iowa, daughter of John and Nellie (Campero)Lievanos.  Her family moved to Salinas then Watsonville at age six where she made her home for 73 years. Rosalie attended Watsonville High School, Class of 1957, she met her husband, Robert Edwin Young. Her first job was at Woolworth for 75 cents an hour. She worked for 42 years at Aptos High School office. She enjoyed spending time at Las Vegas, Chuckchanci Casino and shopping at Macy’s with Maggie and Betty.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents John and Nellie; Robert, husband for 50 years, and younger brother Edward Lievanos. She is survived by her eldest son Robert Young of Watsonville; son Michael Young, his wife Ramona of Royal Oaks and their three children, Michael of Belmont, Ca, Alexandra Manhattan Beach, Ca and James Young; sisters Arlene (Lievanos)Borrego of Watsonville, Christina Lievanos of Modesto,  brothers Tony Lievanos of Aptos and David Lievanos of Oregon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.

A Celebration of Life at Green Valley Christian Church in Watsonville on Saturday, March 9th at 11am.
