It is with Great sadness that the family of Ryan Garrett of Watsonville, CA announces his passing on Nov. 15, 2017 at 4:03 am at the young age of 30, as a result of injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident.

Ryan will be forever remembered by his Mother and Stepfather Kris and John Hanna, Father and Stepmother Steve and Patty Garrett, his younger brother Miles Garrett and Siblings by Marriage, Natalie, Nick and Marie Hanna, Rachel and Heather Emswiler, his girlfriend Katrina Gargiulo as well as numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Ryan was an accomplished Skier, becoming a member of the Kirkwood Ski Team at the age of 10 and continued to Ski recreationally over the years. Ryan was adventurous, he was never afraid to try anything new. Ryan had a special love for animals and an obsession with shoes.

He enjoyed all things outdoors, spending many hours fishing at the family ranch, riding his dirt bike and going on camping trips. Ryan was an avid Hunter which he enjoyed doing with his Dad.

Ryan had a kind heart, easy going personality and was always the first to lend a helping hand without complaint. He enjoyed being around his family and attending family gatherings. He will always be remembered for his keen sense of humor and his infectious smile.

Ryan was preceded in death by his uncle Dave Garrett, Grandfather Darrell Garrett and beloved dog Bruce,
