WATSONVILLE — After two anchor tenants opened this year in the former Orchard Supply Hardware store, the shopping center is up for sale.

A posting on LoopNet.com, which lists commercial properties for sale, states the 52,886-square-foot Hope Center is for sale at a $14,950,000 price tag.

According to Cushman & Wakefield, which manages the property, the owner of the center has decided to sell after 33 years.

The center, located at the corner of South Green Valley Road and Main Street, was built in 1987 before being remodeled this year.

Hope Thrift and Harbor Freight opened earlier this year, splitting the former Orchard Supply Hardware, which closed in 2017. Other businesses in the center include Erik’s Deli, Bailey Properties, Dignity Health and more.

Hope Center is separate from the adjacent Crossroads Shopping Center, which is not for sale.
